I have been along time Orr fan and have enjoyed reading about his accomplishments and his ranking as one of the all time greats. I just wished that I could have seen him play. I am looking for his high grade early cards from Topps and OPC. I saw that his 1968 OPC #2 in a PSA 9 just sold at auction - July 2011 - for in excess of $12,000.00.

I have been a long time fan of Bobby Orr and have brushed elbows with him on a few occasions. I did meet him by accident when he played with the Oshawa Generals. He stepped on my right foot by accident in a very crowded corridor at Maple Leaf Gardens after a game when his team was returning to their dressing room. After all these years I still bare the scare from this meeting, I don't think he was aware of what happened. I kept the running shoe which was stepped on for years, but misplaced on a move to Vancouver a few years ago.
Bobby Orr has always been my hockey idol next to Rocket Richard and that will never change.

I've been a Bobby Orr fan since I was 6 years old, my wife still shakes her head at the fact that I have a picture of Bobby Orr and myself on our bedside table instead of a wedding picture! I came across this site by fluke, have spent the last hour browsing and watching old hi-lights. This is an amazing website, I will send some of my photos to you soon.

love this site and the history created by this star. I'm 52 and there is never time when I've talked hockey and did not think of Bobby Orr.

I have the 1969-1970 O-Pee-Chee double stamp, but it is stuck on the back of a bobby orr card. does anyone know what it's worth, if anything?

I grew up in NYC in a house full of NY Ranger fans and season ticket holders when Bobby Orr was playing. He was the classiest, most talented hockey player that ever lived. Ranger fans always gave Bobby Orr the respect he deserved when he hit the ice. I Watched him score the game winning OT Stanley Cup Goal against St. Louis in 1970, that goal will go down as one of the greatest moments in NHL history.
