Bobby Orr Hall of Fame Manager
Ext. 202

The Bobby Orr Hall of Fame and Entertainment Centre is located on Bay Street, overlooking the Big Sound of Georgian Bay.

The Bobby Orr Hall of Fame comprises 8,500 square feet of the Charles W. Stockey Centre for the Performing Arts, a 24,000 square foot dual purpose facility, also housing the Festival of the Sound.

Exhibition space celebrates Bobby Orr’s outstanding hockey career, as well as the exploits of other famous athletes from across Northern Ontario.

Exhibits include displays of childhood photos, film footage, and artifacts of Bobby’s early years in his hometown of Parry Sound, records of the exploits of other local minor league - current and past - champions, and other local sports figures.

Orr 4 fans can look forward to specific exhibits featuring the Oshawa Generals years, the Boston Bruin years from start to finish.

Another exhibit compares other legends of the game with Bobby Orr. The Hall wouldn’t be complete without a Where are they now? exhibit featuring a collection of photos, press clippings and post hockey biographies of Bobby Orr plus team-mates, coaches and others who played major roles in his career.

Interactive games: Those who enjoy being more than mere spectators of hockey will enjoy playing the interactive games on the mezzanine floor where four games will be featured. Visitors can take on the challenges of the slap shot game, the goalie/defenseman game, the play-by-play booth, skill-testing dome and air hockey games and - on the ground floor - an interactive trivia game presenting 200 questions all related to Bobby Orr.
